Bad Customer Service

Zero Customer Service Culture

You must agree with me that Nigeria Organizations or Offices have horrible customer service towards customers and clients.

I've lost counts of bad services at known companies and offices.
The most recent ones for me where at MTN office and a bank

I went to MTN office to upgrade my sim, the lady that attended to me gave me this look like I stole her boyfriend just like that.

She said, "madam give me your phone". 
I gave her my sim because I know they have numerous phones to insert customers sim card.

She insisted I insert it back to my phone, remember most smart phones are 2 sims, which automatically stop asking for permission to use Sim 1 or 2 for operation once you change the settings. To make it smooth for her to use, I was trying to change it to always ask.

The next minute she shouted at me madam I don't have time to waste give me the Sim.
WTF! But you asked for the phone after initially giving you the Sim. She didn't even flinch she just looked away till she finished upgrading the Sim and left.

The second experience was at an old generational bank, I queued to use the ATM. While about using the ATM, a security shouted eh eh, wait don't use it.
I first thought a customer had an issue with the ATM.

Only for me to realize that he chanced me for someone he knew. Okay no problem. 
I joined another queue, just when it was my turn again, he came with the customer again, that he needs to use the ATM I should step aside.

That was where I lost it. Like do you know you're abusing your position? 
I said did you know if everyone was to use influence to do things here, you won't stand chance?

That was when he started apologizing that he was sorry.

I can go on and on with bad customer service. We need to do more as an entrepreneur, organization, etc.

Ace customer service should be a culture at all level of businesses.

 Everybody is important. Respect every customers you see. I know some customers too can be terrible, but as a representative of a company try and do better always.
