Foods for Belly Fat

 

Belly fat is believed to be difficult to get rid of to fat in other areas of the body. Much attention is drawn to women with belly fat with little to no attention to men.

Men seems to store fat in belly region than woman. Fat accumulation around the belly is far dangerous than fat in other parts of the body.  

Regardless of your sex, belly fat can adversely affect your overall health and lead to health problems like type 2 diabetes, obesity, and cardiovascular diseases.

While these health conditions can be genetic, and influenced by your lifestyle, diet also contribute to excess fat around the belly.

1. Excess calories foods and high fat foods, processed foods are worst food for belly fat. Portion control, daily and adequate amount of fruits and vegetables are good for the belly.

2. Alcohol is an empty calorie with no nutritional value. Excess intake of alcohol can increase belly fat. When you take alcohol, it takes a lot of time for the liver to process and burn off alcohol in order to burn off fat. 

3. Trans fat such as fried foods, margarine, cookies and crackers increase the amount of fat around the belly.

4.  Catechin the antioxidants in green tea along with exercise helps burn belly fat. 

5. High fructose found in sweetened beverages and soft drinks contribute to belly fat. 

6. High fiber diet like while grain food e.g brown rice, and pop corn(without oil) help reduce belly fat. 

7. Reducing calories in diet, and replace with fruits, vegetables, low fat dairy, whole grains, lean meat, nuts, seeds, and eggs provide you with essential nutrients that target your waistline. 

Exercises like running, swimming, cycling helps with general body fat and influence fat around the belly.
