Seized Period

Good afternoon, please I need your help and I've been dying in silence, but I know I won't be judged here that's why I decided to talk about it and get help.

Early this month I found out I was pregnant but the pregnancy shouldn't be more than 2-3 weeks. I told my boyfriend about it but he said that I should abort it. I bought the drugs and because I don't want my mother to observe any thing, I acted strong and was doing every chores required of me.

I only saw blood that day, and after that I didn't bleed again. Since then, I haven't seen my period. Just last month, I saw a little blood but it stopped that same day. I need help to know if I still have the baby in the me or not, and how I can start seeing my period?

I'm so sorry about what you went through. However, when you take a pill to abort,  you are supposed to bleed for at least one week and at most three weeks. After that, you are expected to do another pregnancy test after few weeks when the pregnancy hormones must have wear off your system and if possible go for an ultrasound to be sure that it's not an incomplete abortion or to be sure there are no complications.

The best way to be sure all is fine is to go for an ultrasound, see a gynaecologist and explain everything going on for blood and hormonal test to be carried out.

One way we encourage women to prevent unwanted pregnancy is to track their fertile period using ovulation calculator which is available on this platform.

Kindly search for ovulation calculator, and detailed topics on abortion using the search bottom. I hope this helps.
