Honey is a powerful antioxidants, with antimicrobial and cleansing properties. This natural sweet ingredient is used for baking or sweeten drinks.
Aside from its traditional kitchen use, honey contains healing and soothing properties; and often applied on wounded or irritated skin.
Honey has an excellent way of removing excess oil from the skin, balance oil production, and pH levels.
If you are not allergic to honey, here is how to incorporate it in your skincare regimen for a clear, bright, supple, and glowing skin.
Rinse your face off with water in the morning and gently massage a geninue honey on your face and neck. Leave it on for at least 5 minutes or for as long as you wish (if it is okay with you) and rinse off.
Gently pat dry and moisture.
Another way to enjoy cleansing and hydration is to add a few drops of vegetable glycerin to honey, mix thoroughly and apply on the face and neck.
To take the glow and benefits on an extra level, infuse your favorite herbs in honey for 4 weeks. Strain, and use it as your morning cleanse.
Note; when using honey as your morning cleanser, you do not wash your face with soaps or other cleansers. Just rinse off, moisture, apply other morning skincare products and head out.
In the evening, or at night before going to bed, you can then wash with your routine face cleansers (soap).
