Body butter recipes for Harmattan

Harmattan is knocking on the door, quietly telling us to get ready for it. From December 21st down to january is a tough time for most people; especially sensitive and dry skin types. 

Not to worry, here are amazing recipes you can make to moisturize your skin, and maintain your skin tone throughout Harmattan period.

Dry Skin type

  • 2 TBS of Cocoa butter.
  • 1 TBS of shear butter.
  • 1 TBS of moringa and bitterleaf infused olive oil.
  • 1 tsp of castor oil.

Melt your butters, leave it to cool before adding your oils, and blend thoroughly. 

Start using after 2 days. 

 

Oily- Acne skin type

  • 2 TBS of shear butter.
  • 1 TBS of bitterleaf and tumeric infused sunflower oil.
  • 1 -2 tsp of castor oil.

Mix thoroughly, and use after 48 hours.

To enjoy maximum protection, apply this body butter after using your lotion or cream.
