Menstrual Wahala

Few days to my menstruation used to give me concern because for the next 5 -7days, I'm always on edge, super careful not to get stained in public. I remember always asking girls seated around me to kindly check my behind before leaving a hall or a crowded place.

I've always being lucky not to get started publicly, but one happened that really hurts me. I wasn't hurt because I got stained, but because women like myself made a huge deal out of the situation.

I always pray not to be on my period when traveling, often times I shift my journey till after i was done with my period. 

This time around, I couldn't postpone the journey plus it was my last day of menstruation. I felt confident nothing was going to happen and I made sure I wore a black and thick Jean trousers to protect me incase something goes wrong.

After spending 5 hours on the road, the driver decided we took a break and get something to eat before going further.
I needed to come down for those behind to get down. Immediately I came out of the bus, The man behind me said you're stained check your sit. Oh mine! I said thank you to him. Only for some women to start saying why won't I know that I was on, I'm a woman why am I careless?

Excuse me, do I need to off my panties for you to see that I'm wearing a pad but it my flow decided to skip the pad and choice to flow on my panties?

Luckily for me, I was with a jacket which I tied around my waist, and I used my handkerchief to clean the seat and sat on it throughout the journey. 
On getting to my destination, I checked my panties only to realize that I didn't even have that much flow, but my period choice the panties instead of the pad.
