Skin tags are mostly harmless growth on the skin. They are found in areas like; eyelids, neck, under the breasts, armpits,etc. You can also find skin tags on the face, chest, and legs. 

 

While skin tags are harmless, and anyone can have it a point in there lives, pregnancy, hormone imbalance, overweight, endocrine issues and long use of bleaching or harsh skincare products can cause skin tags. 

Do it your self (DIY)/ Natural methods used by people with skin tags are;

  1. Tying a rope around the tags to stop blood circulation. Tying a rope overnight or consistently makes the tag fall off. That's if the tag is long or big.  
  2. Intermittent fasting, cutting back on carbohydrates and ketogenic diet. Giving your body more hours rest in a day away from food or introduce water fast in your routine for 2-4 weeks. Doing these clean up and detoxifies the body. 
  3. Consistent application of apple cider vinegar (ACV) mixed with neem powder or neem seed oil. 
  4. Clip it off with a sterilized nail clipper. 
  5. Some skin tags have been linked with carb intolerance, low carb diet can get rid of them. 
  6. Using a wax coated dental floss 
  7. Freezing off mostly done by doctors. 
  8. Toners formulated with salicylic acid. 
  9. Applying tea tree oil on the tags 
  10. Masking with activated charcoal twice or three times a week. 
  11. Infuse banana peel in apple cider vinegar overnight or for few hours, and place the inside of the banana peel on the tags, and gently wrap it to prevent it from falling off. 
  12. A mixture of black seed oil and tea tree oil, applied daily.
