Can a woman get pregnant during menstruation? Yes. Though it is generally believed that unfertilized egg comes out as menstruation. However, women with short cycle or irregular menstrual cycles can get pregnant.
Those with shorter cycle length or irregular cycles can take spotting or non-menstrual vagina bleeding as menstruation, which makes them think it's their period and have unprotected sex.
