What are the Signs of Ovulation

Ovulation is the release of an egg from the ovary to the fallopian tube. Ovulation usually occurs between 13-15 days before the next period. 

 

These are some of the signs of ovulation:

  1. Increase in basal body temperature, usually half to a degree when measured with a thermometer.
  2. Heavy or tender breast
  3. Mood swings
  4. Headache or dizziness
  5. Increased urge for sex due to an increase in estrogen hormone.
  6. Increased vaginal discharge or cervical mucus typically appears as egg white. 
  7. Bloating
  8. Spotting or light bleeding in some women. 
  9. One sided lower abdominal pain.

Signs varies in women, but another way to be sure of when you are ovulating is to use an ovulation test kit.
