Girl child day

October 11 is international girl child day. As an African, most homes raise their girl child to excel in house chores and character for their future husband. This culture has killed most girls from aspiring bigger than they should, after all they end in their husbands home.

Parents should try and do better, raise us to grow with the mindset of being future president, CEOs, be on top of our games nationally and internationally. Don't kill your girl child dream, if she wants more from life. 

Raise your girl child that they can achieve much more than being someone's wife and mother. Being a wife and mother is good, but living your dreams is fulfilling.
