Sex abuse victim, 11, who was groomed by a 43-year-old man dies after giving birth prematurely. A sexual abuse victim has died days after giving birth prematurely to a child allegedly fathered by a 43-year-old man in the rural municipality of Uruara, in the northern state of Para, Brazil. According to report, the rapist had been grooming and sleeping with the girl since she was nine years. He threatened to kill the girl if she ever told anyone about it.

The Anambra state police command has arrested a 29-year-old man identified as Ogbu Christian, for allegedly defiling his neighbor's seven-year-old daughter at Anichie street in Okpoko, a community in the state on Tuesday, October 27. A statement released by the spokesperson of the state police command, Haruna Mohammed, states that police operatives attached to Okpoko Division arrested the suspect who allegedly lured the victim and had unlawful carnal knowledge with her inside his room using biscuit as a bait

The rate at which underage children are molested is becoming alarming, and needs serious attention by everyone in the society. Parents and guardians should give their children basic sex education and as well tell them methods used by these pedophiles, and defense mechanism to protect their selves from them. Rape is an emotional scar that never goes away. 

We need to do more! This has to stop.
