Back to the matter. The nursing doctor abused by her husband, and decided to call him out on social media has been reconciled with her husband by the state governor. 

I'm perplexed! Like violence is now a state affairs for the governor to settle. 

What happens to telling the husband to see a therapist?

What happened to giving him a punishment like spending some months in jail to pay for his actions?

Parents, elders, and spiritual leaders used to be the settlers of cases like this one. Now it is the governor.

If violence becomes a culture, our children and next generation are done for. 

How do we expect an abused woman to find real help, if at the end of the day, reconciliation is the best that can happen.
