Effects of Hair Dye

 

A lady shared a picture on Twitter to talk about the her allergic reaction to black  hair dye, and black shampoo. Some didn't believe how hair dye could have such an effect.

I had an experience twice with hair dyes. I used a dye once and it completely burnt my scalp like I used a relaxer. My hands were tingling,and finger nails changed color as well.

Some people can react negatively to some ingredients in hair dyes or it's a result of harsh ingredients used in hair dyes.

Before buying hair dye, read the ingredients and confirm if it contains toxic ingredients. Here are some ingredients that are toxic to human health and it's used for making hair dyes.

• Ammonia
• Paraphenylenediamine (PPD). A banned ingredient but still in use anyways.
• Resorcinol
• Phthalates
• Para-toluenediamine (PTD).
