Nigeria is Sexist

A Twitter user @lekpashawtie shared her experience with assault in the market because of what she wore. Acccording to her, she said was assaulted by men in the  inside Keke. But decided not to go further to avoid causing a scene and one even deep his hand in her short.

She said men gathered to assault her including kids because of what she wore, and no one said anything to reprimand the abusers but rather got blamed for the assault". 

She further said what pained her the most was that even the Keke driver that took her also joined them.

Some users of the platform said she invited the abuse, and should have known better than wearing such clothing to a market place. Some ladies also shared there experiences despite not wearing anything provocative, but were assaulted for being a Woman.
