Sugar contents in Fruit


Eating healthy foods such as vegetables and fruit have been linked with aiding weight loss, good health, and skin. Sugar converted to glucose provides energy for the body and required for healthy brain functions. 

The recommended amount of added sugar a day for women is not more than 6 teaspoons (25 grams), and 9 teaspoons (36 grams) for men. 

We all know the importance of eating fruit, and 2-4 servings of different fruit per day is recommended to provide essential vitamins and minerals to the body.

It is important you know that fruit have different amount of sugar, and know how much fruit you can have because of health condition such as diabetes, and health goal (weight management).

4. 1 cup cherries- 18g

5. 1 cup grapes- 23g
