Does stress or constant consumption of spicy foods cause ulcer?
Stress and spicy foods does not cause ulcer, they only make it worse(if you have ulcer). Most common cause of ulcer is a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori living your stomach. This bacteria inflames or ulcerates your gut wall till ulcer is formed.
Also, frequent or long time use of some type of pain killer drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs(NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen and diclofenac among others inflame the lining of your gut.
