To get closer with your partner, you can hire a babysitter while you create time to be partners and parents. One of the best times to have sex is during baby’s nap time.
- Medications: This often goes unnoticed, but yes certain medications can affect your sex drive. Examples of such drugs are; some birth control pills, blood pressure drugs, chemotherapy, and antidepressants. Changing drugs or dosages may help but ensure that you speak with your doctor about it.
- Poor Body Image: Although this factor is not gender specific, however, women seem to have great concern about how they look. A feeling of being sexy is easier if you like how you look. Working on self and accepting your body the way it is even if you are working towards a desired body is the best way to handle it. Feel positive about yourself and if your partner has a low esteem, assuring them that they are sexy help improve and set the mood right.
- Reduced Testosterone: Testosterone hormone increases sex drive. As a man increases in age, this hormone levels may drop a little, but not all men lose their urge for sex when it happens, bur some do. Other factors like relationships and weight can affect a man’s desire for sex and T-levels.
