Channels TV staff beat his wife up a month after having a baby.

A medical doctor, Ifeyinwa Angbo called out her husband, Pius Angbo, a staff of Channels TV, over his alleged long history of beating her up in their six years old marriage.

According to her she said " her husband beat her up whenever she complains about him womanising".  She gave an account of how he beat her up when she was 3 months pregnant, and also beat and kicked her belly a month after having their 4th child through cesarian. 

Few weeks ago, I shared Mary's story on eliminating violence against women. Mary was also kicked on her belly few weeks after having a baby. 

We believe women get stuck in abusive relationships because they don't have money or people to help them. But this case has made it clear that it's not always about money. 

What then could be the reason why she chose to stay with an abusive partner? 

Just a reminder. Nothing justifies violence to one's partner.
