Bad Friend Challenge

I've you ever had a friend (s) or still friends that feels challenged or threatened by your success? No matter what you do to please them, they just couldn't give you there loyalty.

Lots of challenges going on all over the internet, here is another challenge called "bad friend challenge"Facebook user Deaconex Olives shared her experience with a bad friend who preferred using her services for free than pay her even when she could. She ask her to do free catering services for her family, and pay other an outsider for the same thing.

Here is what she said

" Gather round peeps, let me share a short happening over the weekend.

Now I understand the reason for this "Business succeeds when friends and relations pay for services rendered".

Ok let's go there: 

I get this sister I met in church and we became friends. She got to know what I was into and Naso the trouble started. Dem dey always do hosting (party);for their house and all. Yours truly was always cooking for them all for FREE!!!

Then her sister was to get married and me dey kukuma happy for my mind say I go get the catering contract o not knowing OYO will be my portion. Sisi called my quotation for a certain number of guests which I delivered. Naso I wait tire only for me to see job landed on someone else. I asked her why? She said it was her sister husband family that brought who to cook and said another marriage is around the corner.

Some weeks later, another gathering came, and I was called upon to do what I know how to do best. Me still waka go do all and still come house with just "thank you and God bless you"..... Every body eat with praises on their lips and no left over. Na so I hear them dey do planning for the marriage of. I just ask my friend how far!? She said everything is on track as Na she dey in charge.

Few weeks to the marriage, I asked her what's up la? She said dem don give the job to another o. I was like "But this wasn't our discuss Na, you promised giving me this". She laughed and said in her words "how I go give you that kind job, so that you go come dey Shakira for me"??

I was pained as I left her place. Got home and talked to my sister about it. She told me to forget her as Aston person dey do nor dey finish for life. 

I just siddon one cool evening dey surf my phone when it rang. Lo and behold, it was this friend that called. I answered and the following discuss:

Me: Ha! This one wey you call me today, na Westin happen? I know say u nor go chop belle full call me.

Her: Java, I just say make I Holla you Na.

Me: Thanks

Her: Abeg, we wan do my dad birthday and niece dedication and I want make u assist us cook o. Na you go lead us as helping hands go dey.

Me: No wahala, I full ground remain. Na Westin una wan cook?

Her: Rice, vegetable soup,egusi, semo.

Me: make we just add starch and owo, isiewu, black soup, peppered stew with leaf rice Na.

Her: wow, that's OK and thank you. You go follow us go market o.

Me: I can't. Make una just buy every as I go join una on Saturday.

Her: thanks a lot. 

It was Saturday and it was sanitation day. She called me and I told her to go ahead and fry the meat, grind the tomatoes and all as I will join dem after exercise. At about 11 am, she called me and I said I will be joining them soon. 

By 12, she called they are done and waiting for me.And that was when I threw in my own tori too.

Me: My dear, I was about calling you when ya call came in o. I'm on my way to Warri as I was just called to do some jobs there. And this is a huge opportunity for me to sell my name.

Her: you should have told them you are already booked Na.

Me: Opportunity come bet once my dear. Just carry on and call me where you are finding things difficult. All the best......

Her: Haba! Ok o, bye.

Me: Drops phone and slides under the duvet as I full house remain.

She went further by saying, This is 2021, and I say "My mumu don DO".......
